‘Ten killed’ in Iran protests


Ten people have been killed amid nationwide protests in Iran, according to Iranian state TV.

The state TV report made the reference in a package on the ongoing demonstrations that began on Thursday.

Authorities have previously confirmed four deaths.

The protests began on Thursday in Mashhad over economic issues and have since expanded to several cities.
