According to Calciomercato, Chelsea, along with other clubs, have been put on red alert as PSG approach Pietro Pellegri of Genoa.
At the age of just 16, Pellegri has been somewhat of a revelation for Genoa in the Italian top flight, scoring two goals in just five games in the Serie A, and he is being regarded as one of Europe’s top talents.
As well as Chelsea, Manchester United and Juventus are also interested in the Italian, but it looks likely that if he was to leave that he’d go to PSG, and add to their already talented squad of players.
Both English clubs mentioned have made contact with his club over a move for Pellegri, but PSG have already contacted his agent, who will fly out to Paris soon to negotiate with the French giants.
Genoa obviously do not want to sell their prize talent, but they are willing to listen to any offers above a massive €40m.
