Harry Kane has hailed Tottenham’s Champions League win over Borussia Dortmund as an ‘unbelievable night for the fans and club’.

The England striker scored as Spurs came from behind to win in Germany and confirm top spot in Group H, branded the group of death after the initial draw.

A fine goal, rounded off by Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, put Dortmund ahead before a second-half equaliser from Kane and a winner From Son Heung-Min meant Spurs head into their final group game three points clear of holders Real Madrid.

Having drawn at the Bernabeu and beaten Zinedine Zidane’s side at Wembley, the north Londoners are guaranteed top spot thanks to their head-to-head record, and Kane says sealing that place is a fantastic night for the club.

“It is massive, an unbelievable night for the fans and the club,” Kane told BT Sport.

“Everyone was doubting us before the group even started that we would not even get through, so a fantastic night.

“It was a big goal, we knew if we could take one chance we would be right back in it. [I was] Delighted to see the goal go in and what a finish by Son Heung-min.”
